This has been the worse and most stressful situation I have encountered with a business in my life. I now have to file a police report for the sales manager who fraudulently signed my name on documents on top of trying to get my money back due to them not cancelling out the request on the same day as I requested them to. Besides the very difficult payment and cancellation practices, management is rude and non professional. The regular staff are friendly and nice but mgt is not. Music is way too loud at one location causing one to have to wear ear plugs. No one seems to know or refuses to turn it down. Area manager dismisses issue saying it’s the same at all locations. I wish I could give them a lower rating. Everything that all these other reviewers are saying is 100% true. They are a big scam. I “cancelled “ my membership during Covid and now I’m getting the Threatening texts and emails saying I’m in collections. I called and talked to them and they said I owed 280$ but they will forgive it if I sign up for 45$. I told them I canceled. They asked if I had email proof. It was 2 years ago. Also my wife was on with me, but somehow she is off the plan.

Please do not start a membership, this corporation is very money hungry & purposely make it difficult for you to quit so they can squeeze more money out of you. Terrible management. And the employees/management have a terrible communication service. I pay for a one month training session. I told my trainer I’d like to cancel & he told me to let the front desk know. I had a personal trainer for a 2 month minimum for the edge fitness in Fairfield, Ct. I gave my 30 day notice as per clubs policy. My last payment was made on May 5th of 2022 in the amount of $363. However, I updated my primary account to just one debit card oppose to two in August. The day after me updating my account, I find attempted charges of $363. This Gym has been making me jump through hoops for about a month now. I have really bad mental health and other health issues and the gym just isn’t going to work for me. So I emailed to cancel my membership. I got denied and the stated I needed a doctors note. A DOCTORS NOTE????? Whatever I go and get a doctors note. They denied me again. Wtf?? The edge fitness is not being fair with female customers. They provide a separate facility for women only, which is great, however they’re charging women 39.99 a month for use of this room. The area and the equipment provided is not even a quarter of the main gym itself. The womens gym area is so small and they’re expected to pay more. Corporate, I kindly ask you to look into this. I have been a member of Edge club in Orange CT. I went to *********** *s August 2021 and got stuck there for 8 months. In September 2021 I called the club from there and asked them to cancel my membership, I may not be able to make it alive.
