Took Jolene Messere's Boxout class tonight. AWESOME Class!!! Highly recommend her classes & her as a trainer. She puts together classes that are both challenging & fun. Jolene is a very encouraging and motivating trainer who pushes you to do your best in an encouraging & gentle way. Love her classes! Never disappointed! Always want to go back!
I have been a member of the Edge Fitness Clubs for years and I must say they are the "best" gym in the state or in others for that matter. The trainers that I have worked with have been extraordinary. My current trainer has pushed me to limits that I thought as a 48 year old man I would never go. The cleanliness is impeccable. No other gym that I have ever belonged to was ever this clean. Been here a couple times. Decent gym.
I prefer this location over other Edge gyms. It's the best of both worlds - newer but not too new and crowded. It can get a bit crowded at times but not nearly as bad as Fairfield. The parking lot can get full but would never completely fill as is Fairfield's problem. The instructors are nice and down to earth. Most have been teaching for 10+ years and are very skilled. Extremely disappointing experience. I split my time between Florida and Connecticut, and was considering purchasing a weekly membership at The Edge whenever I'm in Connecticut. To test the waters, I signed up for their advertised 7-day free trial. That turned out to be a mistake. tried giving this one a chance because its closer. couldnt last a week machines smell like they haven't cleaned them in months . staff is miserable. i usually go to fairfield and they do a fantastic job. i'll take the extra 5 min drive daily going forward

Bring earbuds to listen to your own music, as theirs is beyond AWFUL. For some reason they decided to minimize the ability to choose different types of music, so now they have a perpetual loop of the same horrible crap playing over and over. I'm surprised the poor employees who have to listen to this garbage haven't lost their minds yet.

I have been a member of Edge Fitness Clubs in excess of 10 years. As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic - I have repeatedly attempted to temporarily cancel my membership to no avail. I love this gym but I'm extremely disappointed in this poor business practice. I do not recommend this facility and I will happily elaborate on my unpleasant experience. #canceledgefitnessclubs
