I have eaten here several times and have never been very impressed. My friends had burgers and said they were delicious. I ordered a southwest salad with chicken. It was $14.95. This salad was a huge bowl of iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes, corn, black beans, and chopped chicken. I am being generous saying there was three ounces of chicken. The salad was watery. I really like the ambiance at Happ Inn. Also, it's an attractive restaurant and not too noisy. But none of the food brought to our table was tasty. The tilapia tacos were very dry and had little flavor. The wrong soup was brought to 1 friend. Neither of the soups were tasty, said 2 friends. Also, service was slow. When our entrees arrived, I still hadn't received any silverware or napkin. I've eaten here before and was disappointed with the food then also. But it's a convenient and attractive restaurant.
Nice evening good food steak special was disappointing, but chicken awesome!
Been there many times. Always been good. This time bad service and terrible food. Tuna steak inedible. Brought out a replacement after 20 minutes when other 4 were done eating. Skirt steak mediocre at best. Ordered a second martini which the waiter forgot to bring out.
I am a weekly patron to The Happ Inn and have written many positive reviews about it. However, on this visit, the service was all wrong. It took waaaaay too long to get our menus. The delay in receiving our wine was unacceptable. The food was great as usual, but restaurants today need to get it all right. I will still visit often, unless I have similar bad service. Please make this a one time event.

Caesar salad was made with the worst tasting dressing I've ever seen on such a salad. Server brought my appetizer and entrée at the same time saying sorry it's my fault I put it I put it in that way.
While the ambiance is ok - very family friendly - and the service was good, the food was, at best, just MEH. I order the Michigan whitefish that arrived drowning in a yellow mystery sauce with some canned tomatoes and capers. It completely ruined the delicate texture and flavor of this mild fish. It was our first time at Happ and it's doubtful we'll return. Very disappointing.
