They could improve upon a lot. Right now they're going through bankruptcy so it's hard to know what's going to happen moving forward. They need better leadership, more maintenance staff, better food, more activities for the truly active people (plenty for more of the less active or disabled folks right now). They have good communication. The people who work there are VERY nice. They also make sure they hear from every resident in the morning (via a button they have to push) so I know my mom is safe at the very least. But it ... read more

Great for activities. But we signed a contract and they want to raise the rate 10% our contract says 3-5%. And after getting a verbal ok from the manager the rent bill showed 10% my mother was asked to pay the entire amount and then they would reimburse her! Also contract states how much the charge is for a load of laundry $15 it has been raised to $25 letter sent in a memo without a 30 day notice! And not requiring a signature for a new contract. My mother still does not have a working thermostat in her room! Crack in sink ... read more

Moving my mom to The Park Lane was a huge decision for all of us, and so far so good! Mom is 85, healthy and independent. She has been welcomed into the community and is happy in her new surroundings. Everyone has been helpful and the staff is very kind. I will say it's a little rough around the edges, and the food is mediocre. It also feels like a majority of residents are struggling with mobility. It's an older crowd and not necessarily a vibrant and active community. That being said, people seem happy and there are lots o... read more

My loved one was initially in the assisted care, think that is what it's called, the higher level of care, and they were not at all timely in responding to their requests. That is the biggest problem that we've had with TPL.

The Park Lane is a great facility, but there's some work that needs to be done in how they handle assisted living. Right now, we are specifically having a problem with the medication my dad is supposed to be getting. I understand when something changes they will need written approval for it, but at the same time they didn't give him the correct dosage that was on the label and that went on for a couple days - he needed that full dosage. There were instructions to cut the pill in half and the refused to cut it in half because... read more

I have lived at Park Lane for 17 years in chalet [unit number removed]. The garden was what brought me here. I have spent many hours and quite a bit of money on plants and outside labor to help make it beautiful. All the furniture, chairs, tables, umbrella, large batch of daisies were all donated by residents who live in nearby chalets. [name removed], who lived here was kind enough to help with the bird fountain, a small circle in the middle of the lawn and planted many things; and carrying donated patio and furniture. I lo... read more

I just toured The Park Lane with my son and I will be moving in in about 6 months. The Park Lane has so many amenities and the residents I talked to were so friendly.
