My wife and I moved here in [date removed] and are happy in our new home. We have lived fifty years in Monterey, were married sixty-four years ago in Los Angelas CA. I was a teacher in LA for ten years, a vice principal in an all black school for 2 years then again in a white school and became principal in Pacific Grove, CA. I retired as associate super in Monterey COunty.
A very good choice. The fining room management and food service are excellent. Lovely gardens for walking. Close to shopping, beaches, and hiking trails. Weather is mild room view are available. Staff members are friendly and responsive. An overall comfortable and safe environment.
We really enjoyed are visit with [name removed] at Park Lane. She was helpful and friendly during our hour long visit of the nice facilities for my parents. My husband and I appreciated the time she spent with us.
I chose The Park Lane because of its warmth and community. Also, I've been very fortunate in having already met many of the residents. My last residence was up the hill, just below skyline forest. My family and I decided I had lived alone long enough, so when I looked around the Peninsula, The Park Lane seemed to fit my needs perfectly, so here I am!

we are very surprised with the overall facility and all the extras. Our decision will be based on an impressive tour and a knowledgeable and friendly hostess.
Park Lane is a very nice facility, it just had a more nice hotel like feel to it and we were looking for something more homey.
