If I could give 0 stars I would. I understand my family is big and we have 5 kids so scheduling for us can be a struggle. I showed up today 7/6/2020 with all 5 of my kids in tow expecting to be seen at our scheduled time of 5:30. I was promptly told that I was wrong and No I didn't have an appointment because they were closing. I asked that they check the schedule cause I was 100% sure we were on the books. This office is HORRIBLE!! My kids have gone here for checkups and now braces. They have the worst communication I’ve even seen. They never can get you scheduled for anything. When you do have an appointment, they cancel it and never let you know. The orthodontist there is an absolute joke. Zero communication with the parents. I took my kids for a consult with another orthodontist only to find out things Dr. Bahr did weren’t even necessary for their treatment. I want to warn everybody that they have a dr that just got back from traveling out of country and will not tell the patients in Springfield Missouri about it. Stay safe from covid-19
the wait time is ridiculous. I came in today and asked how long the wait would be. They informed me they were on time. 45 minutes after our appointment time we got called back and then he waited for a technician in the chair. If your time is important to you, find another orthodontist.
Waited 4 MONTHS for an appt to have some dental work done under anesthesia for my 6 year old. Took off work, him out of school & fasted him for 12 hours only to get there & the particular clinic for the "surgery" wasn't in network, so we would've had to pay $1500 just for the use of that facility on top of what insurance didnt cover for the actual procedure! they dont want to help a family in need and staff is very rude they have such a turn over
They need to actually look at the treatment plan and update the parents. My kid is so far behind on the treatment plan because at least 2 appointments they didn't schedule him for the right things and he is going to graduate with braces on. They are not professional. I have a picture of one person working on his teeth where her private area is touching my kids head. I am sick of this place. I am looking into trying to figure out how to break the contract and go elsewhere or he will probably graduate college with braces.
Went in for an appointment and they told me I had no cavities and I was good to go. Two days later I have a giant hole in my tooth. Thanks guys 👍
My husband took our daughter last week and said the doctor was great but didn’t have a great experience with the receptionist staff. Also he said our daughter wasn’t given a new toothbrush or anything to take home with her after the visit. I’ve never heard of any dental office not sending you home with a new toothbrush so I thought that was really odd. Overall, wasn’t a great experience.
