If I could give "The Smilist" zero stars I would. Went in for my first root canal. I was very nervous as I had never had one done before, this was for a back molar. I was told the dentist did not have insurance (his words) to administer sweet air. I have never heard of such a thing. After opening 3 canals,an X-RAY was taken and my worst fear was confirmed -he could not complete it. I left with an incomplete root canal. He opened 3 canals. I have had soo many issues with my teeth in the past and I was recommended to go to this dentist I would never recommend this dentist to anyone Initially my first fillin started off great No sensitivity They numbed me really good (dr Marion) Than comes time for a crown omg Talk about tooth pain and sensitivity He places artificial caps in my mouth until the caps come in 2 weeks ago I go to get the caps actually placed in my mouth and he rips the other ones right out of my mouth no numbing And it hurt so bad I was in ... read more

I've had a multitude of issues with this office, for one today had scheduled an appointment for 11:30- I arrived at 11:00 they had brought me into the room for x-rays right away. I was surprised though I'd actually be seen on time since I made an appointment and they have such strict appointment scheduling rules. I have now been waiting for 50 minutes after my x-ray to be seen it is now 11:55 almost 12 and my appointment was 30 minutes ago. Terrible service not to mention the nasty catty receptionists. Profoundly disappointed, I have been a patient of Dr. Cekada for several years, now this practice is called the Smilest. I went in for a routine check up a couple of weeks ago, my insurance changed because I changed jobs. I was told they could not verify my insurance because the insurance company was closed. I asked to reschedule because they wanted me to pay out of pocket. Girl at desk assured me that she would confirm my benefits and call me back next day. Well it has been nearly two weeks and no call. I saw Dr. O'Donnell and Nashit. He didn't give a flying crap in what I requested in treatment even after telling him I didn't come in for what he said. Then O'Donnell pulled on every single tooth of mine to break them. I was very disrespected in this office by those 2.
