I have to say this was the most pleasant trip to the dentist I have ever had . Visit 1 - cleaning and xrays From the minute I walked in the door everyone was super nice and professional. Big props to Ashley who gave me the best cleaning EVER. Thank you for your integrity and diligence in your work and for explaining everything ! My daughter was a bit nervous trying a new dentist, but she had to find one that accepted her insurance. I went with her to the office and I have to say that I was very impressed. The office was clean and beautifully modern. Up to date, state of the art equipment. The front desk was hard at work and quite efficient and helpful. The dental hygienist was VERY good and thorough. Went out on a limb and got a Cleaning and checkup at The Smilist Dental (Amityville, NY) yesterday. This is my 3rd ever different dentist i have ever seen- so i was a little nervous. But their office was amazing, efficient and so clean! Really happy i went!

Just had another awesome cleaning at Smilist. I have been coming here for 8 years now and have been happy with the level of comfort, courtesy and professionalism here. I love how I get reminders bi email and text so I never miss an appointment. My dental hygienist is Pamela. She is super gentle and very comprehensive on cleaning my teeth! I highly recommend. Keep up the great work Pamela:)

Dr. Cekada is Amazing. He and his staff are very Professional and friendly. Never a long wait. Also has Saturday hours!!!
I went to the smilist well before it became The Smilist. That was when it was a really great dental office. Now, if you don't have the "right"insurance, they won't see you unless you pay out of pocket. Oddly some dentists there take your insurance, while others do not. They pushed me off to other dentists for different things. To be honest, I wouldn't even give them one star. I will not go back. They offer nothing to help you and just waste your time. this dentist will allow you to come in for your appointment at the allocated time and send you away..why you ask. because you didn't confirm your appointmen. wtf!!! just because you didn't confirm your appointment doesn't mean that they should cancel it without notification and give your time slot to someone else. its unheard of. do not go here.
