It's been a year since my regular checkup and professional cleaning. I started noticing irritation in my gums leading me to find a Dentist that is available and close to where I work. And wow did I find a dentist that is not only very professional but also very personable. Dr. Lane and her staff has done an exceptional job at creating a wonderful, professional and comfortable environment. I want to start off by saying that when I went to schedule an appointment, that I was hoping/desperate to get one by the end of the week, since I had missed my exam last year. I first inquired about the pricing since my health insurance through my job does not cover dental and they quoted me a $200 new patient price which included x-rays and cleaning. The office is nestled in a seriously awesome location across the street from Washington Square Park. Inside, you will be greeted by friendly staff and good music. If you are looking for a dentist who is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and genuine, please take the time to visit Dr. Lane. We all know how a trip to the dentist office can evoke slight anxiety and uneasiness, however, that disappears when you enter into the office starting with the warm greeting from the receptionist. From there, Dr. Lane takes the time to listen to your needs and thoroughly develops a plan of action. You will not be disappointed and I highly recommend her for the professional service she provides!
I recently moved to New York and I did not have a dentist. Of course as soon as I moved here, I developed teeth sensitivity which was quite unexpected and provided some discomfort when eating and drinking foods. I went to Dr. Lane and she was excellent. Dr. Lane was great! I was in a lot of pain due to my wisdom tooth entering into my daily life with force and quickness! She answered my email very quickly, even though she wasn't on the clock, and was able to see me the next day. The surgery itself was amazingly fast and the wound healed very quickly and cleanly (without any stitches). It was a great experience (for a wisdom tooth anyway) and I can't recommend her enough.
I've been to many dentists in my life, and I think I found a new favorite--Dr. Lane! From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt very comfortable and welcomed as a patient. Scheduling appointments via phone or email is very simple, and if I ever have any questions pre-appointment, I always get a quick response. I came here for a cleaning and a full set of X-rays, and it was painless and efficient! I have recommended Dr. Lane to my friends and co-workers--on top of being a great dentist, she is very warm and welcoming!
