Just wanted to share a great experience at Smilist Dental, Smithtown. Today was my second visit to the office for Oral Surgery. From the time I walked in with in an emergency situation till invited into the exam room, all staff were great ambassadors of this "gracious space"! The Oral Surgeon, Dr. Pan, treated me with competence, skill and compassionate follow-up at both visits. I've lived most of my life with extreme fear of going to the dentist. That fear led to dental problems, which led me to needing oral surgery recently. I've just transferred to this location permanently. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. Feeling comfortable helps to alleviate the fear of being there. Very satisfied with my visit here! Called at 8am when they opened for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction, by 9:15 it was removed! They were efficient and the staff was super nice. Dr. Tolomeo made me feel very comfortable and explained all details of before and after surgery fully through. Would recommend to my friends and family for sure!
Dr A, Dr Feldman, and the entire staff at the Smithtown office have been outstanding towards me and my family! We have been coming for almost 5 years, Dr A has always been so thorough and patient with my daughter who suffers from dental anxiety and Dr Feldman is so happy and cheery, it makes my kids enjoy their experience each time they come. The hygienists are thorough, Ingrid is amazing, the front desk is kind and courteous.I highly recommend this office!!
I've been going to Smilist of Smithtown since my Dentist of 25 years retired for a few years now. The staff is pleasant. A few weeks back I had a bad toothache. Dr O saw me quickly and recommended a root canal. Today Dr McClocklin started the restoration. I've been going to him for a few years. A great funny and pleasant dentist. His assistant is a pleasure. Normally when someone repeats a question many times; that would be an annoyance. However, when the questions are coming from Angela, and she is cleaning your teeth; the question; "Are you ok?" is VERY welcome. Because it is a constant reminder that, not only does she genuinely care about your comfort etc; but that you are being given numerous opportunities to let her know if something is bothering you, or painful.
