This place is the best. Our family is very happy with how they look over my dad! This is the only place you should be looking at for a senior living facility in the sfv. There are no catches and no gimmicks. They help you in any way they can. The process can be intimidating and confusing but they made it a comfortable experience!

The memory unit/Enliven is a wonderful unit for people with memory/dementia issues. My father moved into the Village at Sherman Oaks with my mother in 2017. My mother passed in 2018 and dad was moved into a one bedroom apartment. Things were ok there but as dad's memory began to diminish, he was moved to the memory unit. The Village at Sherman Oaks was my mother's choice when she broke up house keeping and decided to downsize. She moved into the Independent Living section of the Village and immediately became involved with the theatrical productions, community government, and worked part-time in the small convenience store. She made many friends, and even had a boyfriend for a while. As her ability waned, she moved into Assisted Living and received help with her bathing and medication. After attempting to persuade my 93 year old Mom to move to LA from Florida for the past two years, she finally agreed - during a pandemic! I researched a number of places but was most impressed by The Village at Sherman Oaks. My initial contact was with Nicole Levey and she walked us through everything step by step. My dad recently passed away after 71 years of marriage to my mother. She was alone in the house & was extremely sad. We looked at several retirement homes & she liked this one the best. Lots of activities and entertainment. She's now been there several months and has never been happier or active! . The Viillage really changed her life & her attitude.

The whole staff at The Village has gone out of their way to make my mother's transition as easy as it could be. Hats off to Annie, the staff, and the remarkable new chef who lights up the kitchen.. :)

Cannot say enough good things about TVSO. I moved in my 92 year old mother just a few days ago and already I can see the exceptional care and attentiveness they take to ensure a good transition. This was a difficult move for her as she is recently widowed and lived in her home for over 50 years. The peace of mind of knowing that my mom is being well taken care of, living in a beautiful community and happy where she is living a child cannot put a price on that. Since Keith Payne joined there is a noticeable able difference. Many improvements, much more organization. Thank you to whomever had a good sense to hire Keith. Thanks to everyone there for keeping my mom happy!
