My Mom has lived at The Village for a little over 2 years now and is doing well as her age increases and her health declines (as is normal). The Village offers classes, outings and friendships from the variety of residents in this Assisted and Independent Living community. What a wonderful representative for the village! I had a tour today with Elizabeth Gonzalez. I enjoyed my visit with her very much. She is knowledgeable, understanding and patient. I saw her interact with some of the residents and she is sincere and caring . The village itself is beautiful ! Thank you Elizabeth I appreciate the time spent with you today

My mom has been at TVSO for almost 2 years now. She loves it, and so do we (her kids, siblings and friends). She is truly thriving there, making friends, exercising, enjoying the entertainment, and just generally doing really well. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff is incredibly warm and personable. Now that COVID isn't keeping everyone locked down, we are seeing the true value of TVSO in the many social, intellectual and therapeutic opportunities afforded to the residents. I just had to get on here and add a review, my mom had a very difficult decision to make when it came to my grandmother's health and the care that she needed. We looked at several places but all the other places we had gone to seemed to lack staff or any kind of care to care? I don't know if that makes sense, the people there seemed sad... I had a chance to stop by to visit my girlfriends grandma and I have to say this place is amazing. Clean environment friendly staff just overall good experience. The inside apartment was very well kept and clean. I'm assuming that the housekeeping is always on top of things.

My parents moved into The Village just before Covid hit. It was a good move for them, as it has been a safe and comfortable place for them during the pandemic. They shared a very nice two bedroom on the independent living side until my mom passed away last month from natural causes. Because of Covid, it was difficult to find a place for a reception following my mom's funeral. Georgina, the dining room manager, really came through for us. Unfortunately the care at the Village is quite poor and often dangerous if your loved one is in assisted living or memory care. When someone is in independent living, care is appropriate and generally good except for meal quality. My parents lived here over 10 years and when my mother was unable to care for herself Assisted Living became her only option.
