We had TLC come out to look at a leaky water heater Friday after hours. (730 pm) They were suppose to replace water heater Monday. We didn't hear back from them until 7 pm Monday. Who replaces water heaters that late at night? We were very unhappy with service, unhappy trying to get a hold of technician, & tired of waiting around for the service. We will no longer do any business with this company. Plus we got the same water heater from a reputable company for half the price. Please get other estimates before using TLC.

They are usually pretty good. This year, they switched my swamp cooler to heater. After they left, the cooler started leaking on the roof, has done so for two days. They will not send anybody to check for three more days. Caring about doing something quickly about their costly mistakes would increase my trust in TLC.

Called concerning our continuous hot water heater not working. TLC showed up on the same day, however, the heater was 'working properly" upon their arrival. Technician stated it "could be the timer or a sensor or something upstream". Suggested "cleaning the coils" for ~$265.00, however, since it was "working fine" now, I decided not to have it cleaned but to check for those other "upstream" issues. They left and charged ~$112.00. I called TLC because my pipes were backed up but they didn't even tell me what time they were coming. Not evena window or anything. After a couple of hours I called them back and asked if they were coming that day. Wil called me back fairly quickly and he came out and snaked my pipes. So he told me to go flush the toilet and it was still clogged so he spent the next hour to hour and a half fixing it. He finally got it done and he told me there was a tampon stuck in there. Update: after the technician left about two days later the AC went out again. Turns out the technician instaled the wrong part. They replaced the part again and it worked for another week. Another technician is now saying my condenser fan is not working. I feel as if I'm getting nickle and dimed. I will say they were friendly every time. My renter were not happy and i dont blame them, with two young kids and current weather. I don't think i'll be using TLC again. The representative(Natalie) who took my call was awsome. Well for me if I could just rate the technician, Will and the supervisor who finally took my call and helped me it would have been 5 stars. But in dealing with the dispatcher, Loretta, I felt that she didn't care. I called yesterday and my understanding was they were going to be at our home which is outside of Albuquerque. We called TLC for a bid on some work. One guy came out and talked to my husband. The following week they called and asked to come out again with the guys boss ( I think he was) . They looked over the project, measured, talked to me and tried to explain. Anyway, they promised to get back to my husband that night with a quote for the job. I have mixed feelings about my experience. The job was done well and it was done quickly. However, I was grossly overcharged. It was something that needed to be done right away so I agreed to the price but was frustrated when the technician told me he couldn't break my bill down into what I payed for parts and what I payed for labor because it was a "bid job". I'm a residential customer and I have no idea what a bid job is, but I do think I have a right to know what I'm paying for. I did some research online after he left a... read more
