It caused dirty copies The toner caused dirty copies so I cleaned the printer and I only got a couple of clean copies. After a couple of clean copies the streak marks started to appear again. The toner carriage is defective!!! I have never had this problem with this printer or any other Brother printer. That is why I purchase Brother toner and not off brands. I am very disappointed!!!!!!!!
BEWARE !! Amazon printer fitment app info is incorrect. I have a Brother HL-L8260CDW printer. I put that information in the Amazon printer fitment app. The app says that the TN-436BK toner cartridge would fit in my machine. I purchased one from Amazon based upon that incorrect information. However, when I went to replace my empty toner cartridge with the TN-436BK model (Black), there is a plastic ridge that will not allow you to slide the re-assembled drum unit back into the printer. Two Variations of the TN-436BK!! The new ones (three tabs) can NOT be used in the HL-L8360CDW! I just received a TN-436BK intending to install it on my Brother HL-L8360CDW. It could NOT be installed. The photo on the LEFT shows that this variation of the TN-436BK has THREE tabs (above the label which shows where to install the cartridge). BEWARE OF BROTHER'S "WARRANTY" I purchased this product June 3rd. I like to keep a stock of toner in case my printer runs out I have one readily available. I have a business and I cannot afford to have a non-working printer even for one day. So, I put it in this toner two days ago and it is a defective product. I call brother to return it. They said there is only a 90 day warranty and because the warranty period expires, I cannot return the product. They won't even offer a replacement. Despite info on AMAZON site, this did NOT fit my printer!!!! I bought this in February and kept it for when my toner would run out. The return window is now closed. I checked BEFORE I bought for compatibility, and the Amazon web site told me " This fits your BROTHER HL-L8260CDW." AND it even tells me that TODAY, May 11th. BUT IT IS NOT TRUE!!!! And too late to return this very expensive item!
Terrible cartridge worse customer service Order this hoping it would last a busy office printing environment. Lasted less than a week. Terrible print quality. Asked for a replacement but third party never responded. Ask Amazon customer service for help but third party never responded. Bought replacement cartridge from another supplier, works great.
It is not compatible with my printer Unfortunately, it does not work with the printers that it is mentioned in the description.
Cartridge explodes in my printer The last 2 cartridges i bought for my mfc l8900 cdw exploded inside the drum and started causing lines and blotting on the paper when printing. This only happened with the black toner. Would love to get a replacement or refund on these please.
