3 of 4 GENUINE Brother toners were bad! Amazon credited one toner price when it exploded in my Brother printer creating Black toner over everything. Then when another cartridge did not work (would not be recognized as a new toner by the Brother Printer); tried another new box of TN436BK, installed, printed a few copies, and then black toner as on the printed pages, opened the printer and black toner was all over inside again. 3rd cartridge of the 4 that was bad! Don't get this or a printer that uses this Was not super high yield at all. Ran out in less than 1200 pages and they weren't heavily inked.
This is a scam! Not original equipment replacement cartridge as advertised! I had this product for less than 2 weeks, paid $82.00 and it started giving error message “printer low on toner” plus there were yellow streaks on printed pages. This is described as original equipment replacement cartridge, but obviously it’s not. HP must be doing refills and selling as new!! This is scamming! I want an original cartridge refill. Amazon needs to verify what the claims are!!
Output is no where even close to the listed 6500 pages I'm about to switch out the toner for the second replacement since purchasing my Brother Printer earlier this Spring. I bought a box of 10 reams of 500 pages at the same time - so that's 5000 pages in the box. Now according to the product specs one toner cartridge should be enough to go through that entire box... however, I'm only cracked open 4 reams of paper at this point, I'm on the 4th now, so I've printed less than 2000 pages yet I'm just starting my 3rd black toner... read more
Hi capacity, supposedly genuine cartridge. Streaking after a month of use, apparently empty. This is supposed to be a genuine Brother super high yield cartridge, and it did look genuine (package and the cartridge both) . Unfortunately it did not even last a month for us. Started streaking very badly, and it is pretty useless now. Vs. The original OEM cartridge set that came with the printer, lasted 9 months, and we got over 3K pages out of that. More like Super LOW Yield This is not worth the money. Buy the cheap TN433 knock-off instead. It will last just as long. This toner is supposed to have a 6500 page yield but it only lasted 3 months (close to 1000 pages) before the printer refused to print until I replaced it. The cartridge still has a lot of toner in it. This was in a MFC-L8900CDW printer. I won't be buying Brother branded cartridges again. Faulty products are not replaced I purchased a new Brother printer a few months ago and I am very pleased with the printer. However, when purchasing the toner I discovered it was defective and did not work. I contacted Brother and they made me give them the serial number, send them a copy of the receipt of purchase, take a picture of the toner in the printer, and then said someone else needed to call me. Right package, wrong product. This is a five-star printer, BTW. However, regarding this purchase... unfortunately I'm in the habit of keeping a box of toner on hand. I say unfortunately because, by the time I discovered the company's error it was beyond the Amazon return window. (Maybe BROTHER will respond because others have reported the same issue?) I received this item in the end of January for ... I received this item in the end of January for stocking. I then just have a chance to replace this one. However, this cartridge shows on the screen as empty. I am very disappointed
