Not genuine Brother toner The package does not look like it is a genuine Brother toner.
This is not a genuine Brother cartridge!!!!! Although the description says this is a genuine Brother cartridge, that is not what I received. The cartridge itself and the box the cartridge came in both have Brother on them. However, they looked a little off to me. I went to the Brother website to see how to tell if a product is authentic. The website tells you that you can verify a Brother product’s authenticity by one of 3 ways from the holographic security sticker on the product box. Defective - Machine Doesn't Think the Toner is a Brother Product I ordered this toner as soon as the last one ran out. Therefore I am outside of the return window. The toner is defective and the machine says to replace it with a genuine brother toner. Now I have to buy another one and lose the money for this one.
I ordered new, they sent me used. I received the toner and when I opened the box, the shrink wrapped casing was opened and the plastic protective covering was put on backwards. It looks like it’s already been used. Will be returning immediately. Poor quality control.

Works exactly like it should ! My printer was acting up, lotsa jams until i couldn’t take it anymore; my “knock off brand” was really cheap- now i know why. My brother told me to save on toner but it was not worth the extra work & down time. Warning - stick with the Brother toner that is made for your particular printer & you won’t go wrong! Lesson learned!
Not Brother original Installed one of the toner cartridges and the print quality is poor. Just got off the phone with Brother Tech Support. The serial number on the cartridge is not a Brother original part. Likely a refill put into a box that looks like a Brother original.
Printer jams Printer has jammed continuously ever since installing this replacement unit.
