The restaurant selection is great and I had a great meal at The Palm. However, the property and rooms were very old and dirty. The bath mat was wet (leading me to believe the do not change out the towels after every guest) and there was trash in the bathroom, along with a layer of dust/dirt on every surface. This was my first time back at The Tropicana since before Covid and it will be my last. I would not stay there again.

Atlantic City in general is not a safe place to roam around at night

Very short staffed . We stayed four nights and didn’t get any cleaning device at all . We had to call the front desk for fresh towels. They also advertise room service but room service is only available on weekends.

Didn’t realize it was so many homeless people living on the boardwalk so it makes it a little unsafe especially you have kids at the hotel is beautiful. The ambience is amazing.
