Easily the worst vet experience I've ever had. All they managed to do was traumatize my cat. The new staff addition, Dr. McKnight, was chatty and nervous and constantly talked over me. This is despite the fact that prominently displayed letters welcoming her talents to the practice actually praise her. Please DO NOT bring your pets here. This place takes full advantage of the fact that people will spend any amt of $$$ to ensure the health and wellbeing of their pets. My dog had a lump on her throat and was favoring her front right paw, which prompted our exam. Their immediate suggestion was to OPERATE and remove the lump on her neck BEFORE trying to aspirate it and see if it truly warranted surgery. My brother and sister-in-law's dog become very sick, very fast. They brought him to Tuckahoe Animal Hospital. The veterinarian they saw was great. He completed the necessary tests, was pleasant and kind. Due to the severity of the dog's condition, they had to make the gut wrenching decision to put him down. I have never sent my puppies to this clinic and I will never because they don't care for animals like they should. I brought in 3 abandon new born bunnies, their eyes were not even open yet, to this clinic and they ensured me they will take care of them. I offered to pay them for their services and the Vet there told me, it is fine and they would keep them warm feed them and take care of them. They are a bunch of liars and don't really care about animals just money... .The lady who answers the phone is rude as hell...Brought some abandoned rabbits 2 of them were dead on the sidewalk and the rest were laying spread out on the side...First of all we had to practically beg to keep them for the night and told them if they wouldn't take proper care of them we would take them...We called back the next day and they claimed that a bunny organization came and picked them up, yet know one knows who or has a number and now ... read more

I called to ask for an assist, as they are right up the street and our vet is 25+ minutes away and I was car-less. I was told that no one can help me since our cat wasn't a patient there. Well, I guess she never will be now. I've never experienced such rude indifference from a vet's office and would never bring my baby to a place that won't help an animal in need. It may just be the receptionist who was on duty that day, but in that case, she should be fired because she's driving away potential customers.
