What You’ll Do
The Business Development Enablement Manager will create and deliver a world-class training program for our outbound sales (BDR) organization. This person will play a pivotal role in both building and delivering content to our growing team. This is a role requiring direct impact on productivity, helping a current team perfect their selling skills and ensure they have the resources to deliver the best experience for our prospects. He/she will be responsible for leading the Sales Enablement initiatives for the business development roles to increase meetings booked and ultimately sales bookings.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of BDR Enablement and VP of Sales Enablement to develop, execute, optimize and assess the enablement program
- Design, develop, deliver and own training programs for the full lifecycle of our business development team: new hire onboarding, continuous training, skills workshops, application of new product enhancements and career development
- Design training curriculum that aligns with KPIs set forth by BDR/Sales
- Development leadership
- Deliver training curriculum as needed- new hire onboarding, weekly training sessions, ongoing advanced training
- Coaching individual BDRs through call shadowing, role play, and performance reporting
- Work closely with business development leadership to identify and plan for current/future training
- Ensure that all new hires and current team have thorough knowledge of how we drive value for our prospects and customers: product, competitive landscape, customer stories, integrations, buyer roles
- Become a subject matter expert in Buyer Roles and Birdeye’s market
- Ability to build credibility, influence, motivate, and inspire bright minds
- Engage a team in a high growth, fast paced environment
- Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team
- Maintain sales enablement software to ensure it is easily accessible and providing the capabilities sellers need
- Establish metrics and objectives for sales enablement and make recommendations for increasing sales productivity
- Create and update playbooks based on seller feedback and shifting market demands
- Pilot new tools and workflows (e.g., AI call simulators, prompt libraries, Smart
- Chatbots) to drive productivity, consistency, and scale across teams.
- Deploy AI assistants to enrich account research, summarize buyer intent signals, and assist BDRs/AEs in crafting hyper-personalized outreach and talk tracks.
- Partner with RevOps and Sales Leadership to monitor rep behavior. Use insights to make enablement recommendations and drive measurable improvements in ramp time, conversion rates, and quota attainment.

Desired Skills And Experience
- 5+ years experience in a high-performance SAAS sales organization in sales, enablement, or learning and development
- Bachelors degree Required
- Required: experience selling
- A strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools and training
- Extremely organized, excellent presentation skills
- Working knowledge of SaaS Sales, business development
- Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaborate closely with the business development team
- Experience with sales technology: Salesforce.com, SalesLoft or Outreach
- Experience creating and implementing successful sales process/methodology/ sales playbook initiatives
- Experience building effective field sales onboarding and sales training programs
- Experience in introducing AI into day-to-day enablement operations
