Excellent MD. Great surgeon and great bedside manners. Highly recommend.
Dr. Welling Kristy, Aubrey, and Scott, were phenomenal. Although pain management while in the hospital was challenging. Due to short staff and continued admission, it was difficult to meet all patient's needs. Scott checked in on my progress and was thorough in explaining why and where the pain was expected. Although still recovering from clerical surgery, my trust of a positive outcome remains. Love Ogden Regional.
Dr. Winters removed a large tumor from my husband's brain (meningioma). We have only the best to say about our experience. He was very informative, took time to answer all our questions, was compassionate, and his surgical skills were second to none. We would not hesitate to recommend him.
very good. He explained what was wrong with with nerves in my lower back. He let me decide Surgery or no Surgery. I will decide in a few days. I am old, but, still feel young. Guess i will take a chance and go for the surgery.

I went with Dr. Winters because all the physical therapists I talked to that work with post-surgery patients said Winters' patients recovered the best. If that wasn't enough, when I was being wheeled back to the surgery room the anesthesiologist said, "You've got the right doctor. When my son needed surgery I sent him to Dr. Winters." The physical therapists and the other doctors in the hospital are in the best position to know who is best. Dr. Aucoin took his time to make sure that I knew all options in regards to my lower back issues. Definitely appreciate that.
This was not my first visit with Dr Welling. I have had several previous back operations with orthopedic surgeons. Dr Welling performed my last one! I was very pleased with his knowledge, demeanor, and the success I had with that surgery. That is why I came back to him for my neck problems. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone with neurological problems.
Dr. Winters did a spinal fusion and did a fabulous job. I had absolute trust in him and he was remarkable. His PA Lauren in fantastic too, as well as the office staff.
