Dr. Welling didn't ask me about symptoms. He told me that because the scan didn't show major nerve pressure that he wouldn't do ANYTHING to help me, and right after wanted me out of his office, implying that he doesn't care at all if I have heavy pain and episodes of weakness in my legs for the rest of my life. How can I possibly trust a doctor who couldn't care less about his patient regardless of how much he knows?
Dr. Welling is more concerned with having his Fridays off, and spending your money and not returning patients calls, than he is talking care of my dad's spine. He pawns you off on assistants his staff is uneducated, rude and doesn't care about patient care. Go somewhere else! This is your spine don't take someone who only cares about your money's advice
Dr. Welling is a hoity toity who's oblivious as to how to treat a patient. My wife spent 6 weeks in a neck brace. Was advised to expect a call from him on the Tuesday at the end of 6 weeks. We never received the call. We called Friday and we were advised the Dr. was out of the office for a few more days. After calling back again because we were frustrated with the process. The some how he happened to be in the office. And he said, yes she could take the brace off.
Had Hemi. & Laminectomy 4 un-contained rupt. Dr & surgery were great. Problem: Office Staff. Receptionist Joyce doesn't listen, writes your question down wrong when you have problems. She & staff have no medical training. If Dr in surgery & PA on vacation, there's no on-call Dr or PA. 3 wks post-op had high fever; called Thur, she said no one would call until Monday. 5 months after with severe pain, meds, rest, not working; same response. After surgery you never see the Dr. Terrible post-op care
