We live in Wellington, it was a Saturday and our usual vet was out of town. Our lil Chihuahua had been sickly so we ran her up to the emergency clinic to have her looked at. The staff were friendly and professional. They helped us out and even made an appointment for us with one of their specialist for a later date. This place is costly but always available after hours and even holidays. If you're in need of medical attention for your fur babies and cannot make it in to your regular vet you can rely on these professionals to... read more

We had to take out boy Zeke in because he had broken his leg during a fall. As soon as they saw him they voiced their concerns and immediately started care for him. We spoke with multiple staff members and each member was kind and compassionate. As we waited we witnessed countless families come in and each was greeted with warmth and compassion. Our circumstance didn’t end so happy for us as it appeared Zeke had complications that most likely lead to him breaking his leg. We chose to limit his suffering and the staff was bey... read more

Its just like a hospital ER. You see heartbreak and relief all at the same time. There is no law for animals to be treated like there are for people regardless of how much we love them. Like in human hospitals, patients are triaged and treated according to seriousness which leaves some cases waiting longer. I am fortunate enough to be able to afford the emergency care and I understand why it is more expensive for them to maintain the facility with the staff and the equipment that they have there. I encourage everyone to look... read more

We brought in a badly injured kitty That had taken refuge in our yard - the Good Samaritan program is such a great service.

Even through the stress they were so gentle, caring and generous. I'd recommend them in an emergency any time.

Great docs, wonderful technicians, helpful reception staff and a very clean environment. It was a busy night so it took a while, but everyone was so helpful and they got our little Chihuahua back on her feet.

Recently my husband and I had to take our cat to the hospital for emergency care over a long weekend. As it turned out, our cherished little one had developed a rare, almost-always fatal auto-immune disease. We cannot speak highly enough about the care, compassion and professionalism of the staff we interacted with. Yes, the cost of the treatment was high, but given the "open 24 hours" nature of the facility, the costs didn't seem exorbitantly so. Yes, ultimately we lost our treasured "Kenobi-Cat" but we are comforted by... read more

Unfortunately I had to take our baby, Pickles, to the Emergency Clinic last Sunday. She was diagnosed with pneumonia and had to stay the night. Dr. Ward and the staff were amazing. They took great care of Pickles! **Update: Pickles had a follow up with the our vet this morning and she's doing great! Her lungs are clearing up nicely. Scary when he used words like critical, life threatening and lucky. I know I was scared but didn't realize she was THAT sick. Thankful for the staff of the Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Wichita... read more

We saw the oral surgeon Dr. Winter. He and his staff (Amanda) were wonderful! He allowed time for any questions I had and I appreciated how aggressive and "to the point" he was. I am very impressed!
