Great ambiance, superb service. Also just found out that my 12 and 13 year old are able to eat with us even if we get the tasting menu with wine pairing (which, on the menu, claims all people at the table must get). That is helpful for our family of foodie children and parents who enjoy a wine pairing.
We chose Vida during the Indy devour. We appreciated the eccentric menu and fresh ingredients. We learned that they grow their own herbs right in the restaurant on the wall. My friend took advantage of the wine paring with one 6 course chef menu which was diverse and beautifully plated. With the soft muted lights, intimate setting, and grade service. The food, ambiance at VIDA was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to spend a bit more for excellent quality.
Ate here with my husband during devour. I have lived in Indy 6 years and this was the best meal I've had here yet.
Vida earned its stars for the two of us. They called us to confirm our online reservation, ask about a special occasion, food allergies (in our cases, none) etc., and confirmed that the reservation time was consistent with our meeting a theater curtain downtown. The server was knowledgeable about everything on the menu including what he said were a few new items, and paced our meal perfectly to leave in time for that curtain. Honestly the best meal I’ve ever had.
Vida is excellent in every category. We had the 4 course menu, choices were great, food was great and the service was great. This has to be one of the top restaurants in Indianapolis.
The food and atmosphere was good. It's a little pricey especially for the amount of food you get. I don't think I will bring my kids.
