Excellent food and excellent service
First time here and it is a very charming restaurant; great service and the food was outstanding. We had the 4 course meal with the Halibut as my entree and the Scallops for my wife. Both were perfectly cooked. We had the doughnuts and the chocolate for desert and both were a wow. We have tried many restaurants in the Indy area and this is definitely towards the top of our favorites-list.
Vida maintains itself as one of the best restaurants in Indy with each visit. Amazing food. Awesome service. One of those restaurants that you're always happy to go back to and never disappointed when you get there.

Loved everything about it. For the record, I am hearing impaired. Severely. I requested on my reservation to be put in as quiet place as possible. Our table was in the corner of one of the smaller rooms, and the noise level was definitely less there. It was very much appreciated that my request was honored.
Outstanding, personable, knowledgeable service staff. Unrushed service leaving plenty of time to visit with friends. Food creative, tasty, well presented. Would go back for special occasion or to bring out of town foodies.
One of the better meals I have had in Indy. Atmosphere was quiet and the tables had nice spacing. The service was top notch and the food imaginative, fresh and balanced. I enjoyed one of the better halibut dishes that I have ever eaten. The cocktails and bartender were wonderful.
Despite reservations we would have had to wait for seating at our reservation time so accepted a table in the bar. It was ok but a bit noisy. The food was good but not as good as I expected. The beef tartar was a bit on the bland side. The poached pears were crispy, maybe Asian pears, not soft and juicy as I anticipated. The short ribs were pretty fatty - I prefer leaner. They were very tender and full of great flavor. The server was excellent. So — this was s nice experience overall but not as great as I had expected.
