Vida was wonderful. The serve was good, food excellent. The different courses might confuse you a bit but it's easy to work with. I look forward to coming again.
This is our second visit to Vida, and by far both occasions have delivered an unforgettable experience. The food is amazing, the staff is knowledgeable/helpful, and the atmosphere is great. By far one of the best experiences in town.
Me and my wife celebrated our 18 year anniversary at Vida and we could not have chosen a better place. The food was amazing. Every dish looked like it came out of a magazine. The staff was great and very prompt. I would highly recommend Vida for your next special occasion.
The Chef always creates a masterpiece for every course. It’s much like dining in downtown Paris Michelin Star restaurant in the heart of Indianapolis. Much like traditional French dining the portions are small but perfectly prepared and presented in four or six courses and the dining experience will take two to three hours in a no rush savor the experience environment! We’ve been waiting for Vida — a truly exceptional and sophisticated dining establishment.
We were blown away by our experience at Vida. We had a handcrafted (literally spices ground by hand) cocktail at the bar and then the hostess politely got us when our table was ready. Our server, Shane, was well versed on the menu and very attentive but not hounding us. They brought us champagne for our anniversary! We had an amazing, well paced 4 course tasting meal. The second course - foie gras - was probably the best I've had outside Dordogne. The first course, a tartine that I ordered was said to come with arugula . It was served with a baby oak leaf lettuce - which is OK---but it would be good to have the server inform the patron that there was a substitution because the chef didn't have the arugula handy upon the making of the order.
Excellent restaurant that we find to be one of the best in the country for this type of dining experience. Consistently great food, creative menu, great staff, and never disappointing. Budget for around $75 per person to really enjoy the menu and have a drink. Worth it every time, though.
