Staff have recently changed. The facility is very open and a lot of natural light. It's a little pricey but we are currently reevaluating his level of care to see if he really needs everything that they are providing.
Village on the Park was a pleasant visit. All rooms were clean and appropriately decorated. Everyone we met were kind and friendly. I especially liked that there were many courtyards. The only thing that I was sad about was the price. It was a bit out of my price range.
Nice facilities and the director was available to help us on short notice. I would recommend it.
Just little issues... keep it from being several 5's My wife keeps telling me I expect perfection.. and no facility will be a 5 in my mind. We are very satisfied with VOP.. and I am super confident that [name removed]. is in a safe and healthy environment.. that's the best I can hope for and strive for my Mom.
This is beautiful facility. But we found it’s difficult to get things done to our standards. Have to ask for things to be done that should be done on a regular basis. Having said that, my Mom has not tried to take part in any activities. The residence are not friendly. She has been sick off and on since she moved in.(3 months ago) This has been a difficult decision to put mom in an assisted living facility.

Village on the Park has been amazing from intake through today. Staff is dedicated to what they do and very friendly and professional. Areas of improvement would be the food. It should be better. Response times could also improve not bad but could be better. We are very pleased and we would recommend this community to other families.
What we like the most about Village on the Park Denton is the caring and knowledgeable staff, lovely atmosphere, and good location. I highly recommend.
The facility is nice. I find they do not clean my dad's room very well every time. The staff are hit and miss. Some are great. Others shouldn't be working there. My dad has used the call button for help and waited up to 45 minutes for someone to come. They also charge very highly. Even when my dad has gotten better and doesn't need as much help, they did not adjust his rates to a lower level of care. The food is not good. My dad went from 210 to 185 while there. Staff is very friendly and always helpful. Food quality is poor. They probably need to hire a new chef and have a different menu.
