This is beautiful facility. But we found it’s difficult to get things done to our standards. Have to ask for things to be done that should be done on a regular basis. Having said that, my Mom has not tried to take part in any activities. The residence are not friendly. She has been sick off and on since she moved in.(3 months ago) This has been a difficult decision to put mom in an assisted living facility.

Village on the Park has been amazing from intake through today. Staff is dedicated to what they do and very friendly and professional. Areas of improvement would be the food. It should be better. Response times could also improve not bad but could be better. We are very pleased and we would recommend this community to other families.
What we like the most about Village on the Park Denton is the caring and knowledgeable staff, lovely atmosphere, and good location. I highly recommend.
The facility is nice. I find they do not clean my dad's room very well every time. The staff are hit and miss. Some are great. Others shouldn't be working there. My dad has used the call button for help and waited up to 45 minutes for someone to come. They also charge very highly. Even when my dad has gotten better and doesn't need as much help, they did not adjust his rates to a lower level of care. The food is not good. My dad went from 210 to 185 while there. Staff is very friendly and always helpful. Food quality is poor. They probably need to hire a new chef and have a different menu.
We (Mom and I) were very pleased with Anthology! They were very caring, attentive, friendly, great activities & good value. Her only complaint was the food…
[names removed] do a marvelous job and put my Mom in the best possible position to rehab and find the correct Assisted Level. As with any place, they are short-staffed, but try to streamline processes as best they can.
To me it is important that I know my sister is in a place where she is well taken care of and treated with respect and kindness. I have definitely found that at Anthology. They have a very caring and qualified executive staff and the caretakers and support staff are kind, efficient and caring The Director of Sales is a caring and a well qualified professional and is very knowledgeable. The staff at Anthology of Denton are very friendly, considerate and respectful of those in their care. Moving into Assisted Living is far more complex than I realized. The Director of Sales and Nursing were extraordinarily helpful and patient as I navigated this process for my father. The dining experience is in transition and I was told that on the tour so no surprises there, but they are short staffed.
