They have gone the extra mile to make my mom comfortable. They are very efficient and they have handled COVID with grace.
When my loved one began having behaviors, admin gave us the wrong information on how to help him. They were adamant we had to provide 1 on 1 care or take him to a psych hospital to be treated. Unfortunately, because his dementia was advanced, he would be unable to sign himself in to a psych hospital. Admin did not know the rules that went in to admitting him to a psych hospital and we felt like we were backed in to a corner. The new nursing director and executive director turn a blind eye to what is happening. The nursing director doesn’t staff and has no problem with working 1 caregiver for 80 residents and she never comes to work or return phone calls. She also doesn’t want family me ever to call her . Most of their staff has quit
It was not equipped to handle a stroke victim with enough trained employees. Food was not very good. I would not recommend that facility.
Very disappointing for the price. The community areas were very presentable, but the cleaning of the personal apartment was sub-par. Wet towels were stacked up after showers and got musty. There was always a lot of dust , floors stayed dirty and huge dust bunnies remained when we moved out furniture. Trash not picked up over weekends. Most of the staff was friendly , but most could not deal with the moodiness of dementia, which is a majority of the residents. This facility has terrible turnover and is poorly run. At move out, we were given the incorrect medications. They're not transparent on fees and will not return phone calls.
I did not like this community and I looked at a lot of communities and this just did not work. The surroundings were not great and everyone was just siting around. This was just not the community and they were uncooperative and did not communicate well. Everything was timed and there were limits to seeing my loved one. Our loved ones were there for four months, and in the beginning the food was fantastic. However they made changes to their chef program and the quality really went downhill. The community can really improve on their medicine management, you have to use their pharmacy and you end up paying way more money. Also our loved ones did not receive their medication on time which resulted in our loved one ending up in the hospital.
We had an issue with medication for 3 1/2 months, and we did not find out until we put a camera in the room and notice it. I would not recommend this community to others. complaints were issues with the state.
