I would not go anywhere else for my annual mammogram. WRA is a warm and friendly place with sensitivity to the discomfort and dread women face getting this important screening. Every technician I have encountered has been super sweet. Most recently was Sarah who was gentle and efficient.

They are located at the back of the parking lot and not facing the street so if you're following the GPS, head towards the back of Harris Tetter parking lot and they're in the same building as the bank (across from HT). I needed a brain MRI done, for the first time in life, so I was somewhat nervous but my experience was great. I've been going to this location since 2010. The staff have always been nice and professional. Out of all the Washington Radiology locations, I like this one the most. Although Yelp says they are closed on Saturdays, they are open limited hours. I believe it's mostly for MRIs but they let me schedule my mammogram. Bonnie was my tech today. Very friendly, calming and informative. Always nice when the tech shows they care!

I've been having my mammograms at WRA in Potomac for several years. The mammogram staff have always been pleasant and kind, and have treated me well. I had to have an MRI for the first time this year. I was nervous about being in the tube. The technician put a pillow under my legs, for which I was grateful, and she gave me both earplugs and headphones. I've been having mammograms annually since my twin had a double mastectomy four years ago. I've gone to various locations based on whatever insurance I had at the time. This was the first time I've had the procedure done without ending up in tears. Patty, my technician, was gentle and kind. Check in was easy (don't forget to bring the order from your doctor and/or the scans from your last procedure if it was done at another location) I recommend this place and I will be back.
June 2015 I have nothing but the very best to say re Washington Radiology Associates at the Park Potomac Avenue location, Potomac, MD. The Front Desk Staff were very professional and efficient. All personnel including nurses and staffers that worked with me to help get me onto the bench (I am a paraplegic) were absolutely super! I am not an easy person to please and I have no investment in this practice nor do I know anyone affiliated with it. Have used WRA for decades and my experience has not always been great (Bethesda) where I had a couple of irritable techs and one truly insane radiologist. This business is conveniently located, offers free parking, and has friendly & accommodating staff (I rescheduled twice). Had my first mammogram last week and was a bit nervous. The technician was very warm, understanding, and talked me through the entire bizarre ordeal. I was in and out within 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon. My doctors office referred me here and I would recommend their services to my family and friends.
