Washington Radiology in Potomac is nice however the front desk staff leave a lot to be desired. I walk in and instead of good morning this person is asking me if I have an appointment.... In a loud and rude tone....twice. Totally threw my whole demeanor off...her attitude was COMPLETELY unacceptable.

Well I have been to the Potomac Location 5 or six times. . . today they made me reschedule a routine mamogram for a diagnostic mamogram-stating I hadnt been there since the prior Oct. I was there appt on April 6th, an appointment that they made me wait 1 hour and 15 minutes before sending me back for services-then to be told that they would do what the could because I was late for the appt. Freezing. Long wait times. They can't be bothered to turn on the heat and if you get a tech named Bonnie, god help you because it will hurt like hell.

Buyer beware! I've been going to Washington Radiology for my annual mammogram for more than 20 years. Today, when I arrived to the North Potomac office, I was told their computer system was down and my name was not on their hardcopy list. They asked if I had scheduled my appt online. When I said yes, the reply was, "Oh, that system really doesn't work." Huh?!?! I took off from work and drove 45 mins and all you have to say is that a scheduling program on YOUR website, "really doesn't work." They refused to fit me in a... read more

Don't ever schedule an MRI at this location. The staff is rude and the equipment is never working. Twice now after arriving I had to leave and go elsewhere to have my MRI.

I just called and they don't have an OPEN MRI. Yelp says they do. This is not correct.

Particularly with something as sensitive as interpreting a mammogram, every patient should have the ability to see a doctor of their choosing. But I just learned the strangest thing about Washington Radiology: you effectively cannot schedule an appointment with a particular doctor. I was so relieved when I found Dr. Chow; I really trust her, and she was so much better than other doctors I'd had for mammograms in the past. It means a lot to me to go back to her for follow up. Zero star. Worst experience ever had for mammogram. Went there for a mammogram per my ob/gyn's instruction for a diagnostic mammogram on a lump she's been following. The tech was friendly however uninformed. I'm telling her it's a small lump, but she continues to refer to it as dark spot and asked if I've seen a dermatologist, despite my explaining to her that I don't have any discoloration/ pigmentation. Make sure they have your doctor's fax number before you leave the building. Don't assume that because the fax number is clearly written on the MRI order from the doctor that these idiots will pay attention to it. Instead they will just drop it in snail mail to your doctor instead of looking on the doctor's order or calling you to get the fax number. Stupid or lazy - take your pick.
