Yeah, it's kind of funny to say "I'm a fan" of a radiologists' office. But as far as options go, this was a good choice. Parking here is free, access off 270 is simple. The MRI machine is located in a room that has real windows to the outside world, meaning you see natural sunlight, which is a very nice change from being in windowless environments. Terrible customer service. Tried many times to schedule an MRI and no one even answered the phone. After a third or fourth try, someone answered, took all of my information and then said they would call me back. (What?!) They called back 2 days later when I was at work, left a message and hung. When I tried again, it was same terrible routine. It just feels the staff is completely uninterested in helping anyone.

Terrible experience. Staff was nice, but whomever is in charge of billing is awful. Was sent three bills, every time I called and asked about it, was told it "was a coding issue, do not worry about paying your bill, we will work this out". THREE TIMES I received yet another bill, I would call, they would tell me it was an issue and I did not need to pay. I've gone to WRA for many years. Solis bought WRA and Solis is owned by a private equity firm. My doctor had to send request for a mammogram two times and had to call 3-4 times for the results. I had my mammogram Aug 8, and have not received my copy. By the way, I have no idea who read my mammogram. My doctor's copy was signed with some letters and a desk number. Good way to avoid accountability. In the future, I'll go somewhere else. MAS

I had a test in January 2024. WR insisted that this was not covered by insurance and made me pay in advance. I did so. It turns out that insurance did cover it and WR owes me a refund. I've been chasing that refund with their offshore billing department for 18 months and still no refund. NIGHTMARE!!!

I had a mammogram in June and had to wait for 90 minutes. Then I had an ultrasound in July and had to wait for 2 hours! One time I could chalk it up to having a bad day but twice now! No thank you. There are so many other places to get imaging done. My time is valuable to me but obviously not to them.

Absolutely do not use Washington Radiology. I had a mammogram there in November 2024 and paid my portion while insurance covered the rest. Despite this, I've been receiving a $2,000 bill every month since. Each time I manage to reach someone in billing, I'm told it's a mistake, they apologize, and assure me it will be resolved. Let's start with the upselling and heavy sales pressure of upgrading to a Breast MRI that is not covered by insurance. Refusal to do a ultrasound which is covered by insurance and scripted by the physician. This has occurred twice. This year the billing process is a complete mess. The bill sends you to is a weird scammy looking page and is NOT the same as the landing page if you go to billing on the Washington Radiology webpage.
