They asked the right questions so we got right sized water heater, an understanding of code changes requiring replacement of exhaust vent stack. Pricing was $200-$250 less than other estimates - and we had to tell other vendors about the code changes requiring 3-4 hours of pvc vent replacement. The explanation of water heater use and maintenance was clear cut. All new vent pipe (pvc) for power vent was up to code including all sections of pipe with text rating visible for inspection. My first service provider quoted me an â� � All-Inâ� � price, however, when they showed up the first thing they said was that it would be an additional $300 because they had to redo a lot of the plumbing because they only had a tall water heater tank. My original tank was shorter. I asked if they could provide a short tank and they said no. I said I would like to hold off and they were fine with that.
