RecommendedI don’t understand some of the bad reviews. We brought our cat, Cheesecake, in during an emergency when her regular vet was closed. They took her in right away and yes we did wait almost 3 hours in the parking lot but considering they were squeezing her in that was almost to be expected. The communication while we were waiting and follow up were amazing. Dr. Peabody was so kind and patient that we’ve made New England AMC our primary vet even though they’re over 30 minutes away from where we live.
Absolutely FANTASTIC staff. I called in Saturday morning about a sick chicken. My information was kept in the system for easier check in. Once I arrived, check in was easy, and a tech was out to receive my chicken within minutes. In less than 40 minutes, I had a phone call from one of the Drs, and they had already fully examined my chicken and had a few diagnosis, along with prognosis. All the staff I interacted with during my dog’s emergency in my opinion went above and beyond. From the initial , “ What should I do phone call to the reception desk to my last conversation with Dr. Fernandez. Amazing staff who were in constant contact with me. Dr.’s called you when they said they would and spoke to me about my dogs illness in a way that I could understand. I highly recommend this hospital! sadly on Sunday I had to put my 18 year kitty Nomar down. The staff was wonderful so caring and supportive during this difficult time. god bless you all!❤🙏

I highly recommend this animal center. In a pandemic and during a snow storm my Brittany ingested a toy with batteries. No emergency care was open. Thank goodness for them my girl is okay. Staff was professional and very helpful.
We are so grateful to every medical staff member who helped our dog, Bella, when she was unexpectedly diagnosed with diabetes. Special thanks to those who answered our many questions, kept daily watch on her and most importantly, get her home in a healthy condition. THANK YOU!!!

This hospital continues to be excellent every time we come in. We’ve brought multiple dogs (fosters and personal) over the years with different vets and techs. Each experience was professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. One of our dogs really struggles with strangers handling him and every time he comes out of here, he’s better and better. They always patiently answer all my questions and now have an efficient, safe system in place during the pandemic. Highly recommend.
we had an emergency with our 3yr old cat eyevan. he had a urinary blockage and had to spend 3 days in the hospital. The doctors and staff of Neamc did a great job treating our baby. They kept in contact with us (and even put the phone up to him so we could say hello #darncovid). Many thanks to all the staff. 💝 The Perrys
