I’m still so upset with the care of my dog. I had him at the vet hospital on Monday from 9am-7pm to check for diabetes and they said he might be partially diabetic, but they sent him home… I found him on my floor on Wednesday night after work, we brought him to the hospital and he was in a high glucose coma going into cardiac arrest. I feel so failed and hurt by New England animal hospital in west Bridgewater. I paid $1249 on Monday and they did nothing!!! I feel that with better care and an overnight evaluation, he would st... read more

Abrasive, rude front desk staff, don't let owners in the hospital when their pets are in critical condition. Would not recommend.

We called ahead and brought our puppy in, in fear of a possible broken leg. We dropped the puppy off at 1:30pm, made over 6 calls to try and receive an update (worst phone system as you wait on hold for over 10 mins each time if you can even get a person on the line) and all they could tell me was “the doctor would call us back” , “ oh sorry we are dealing with a cat emergency “ “ummm I’m not sure whats been done yet someone should call you soon” “ I have no idea if she has been seen yet I don’t see it till it’s put through ... read more

I dropped my dog off at 1:30 didn’t get a call from the Dr until 3:30 so I figured he was almost ready to be picked up but no, by 6:30 I called them and said he would be ready when I got there wrong again I waited another 40 minutes in the parking lot. So 6 hours later I finally got him, not to mention being in a crate that long with no food, water or bathroom brake.

The care is good. The customer service has gone down hill since the practice was sold to a large chain. When you bring your pet in, you have to call from the parking lot. It doesn’t much matter that you have an extension to press for it. The wait was north of 12 minutes. The receptionist informed me that she was the only person there, when there should be 5. I have used this practice for 30 plus years. Ever since it was sold the bean counters have been cutting the front end. Probably the techs out back as well. The pho... read more

Had to take my 2 year old border collie mix in as she could not stop vomiting and it was after my regular vet’s hours. I had been told by the VCA that she was non emergency and she could not be seen there. NEAMC told us the wait to see a doctor would be 5-6 hours but she would be in a kennel area with nurses to watch over her and prioritize her if she got worse. We got a call from the doctor only 40 min later and she had her tests and meds all done before the original 5-6 hour estimate. She is on the mend and back to being h... read more

I would never suggest anyone trust this place with there pet. We brought our Saint Bernard puppy there on July 26 she had a distended stomach. We dropped her off. Few hours later received call her blood work was all normal but were her hernia repair was seem to be the problem. But she was stable . Later that evening they called again wanted to do surgery the next day but still didn’t tell us what was wrong with her and no answer other then she was stable. But wanted another 3400 when we called to make yet another depos... read more
