The New England Animal Medical Center (NEAMC) is a locally owned hospital that has been in business since 1975. Our staff works together for the common goal of providing pets and their owners with the very best possible care that modern veterinary medicine has to offer. While we provide professional veterinary services in a state-of-the-art facility that is equipped with the very best technology, tools and options available, we adhere to what may seem to some as old-fashioned values. It is our belief that we are here for th... read more

Get directionsWoman on the phone accidentally left me on the line instead of on hold. She mocked me for thinking my dog should be done by then (we were told she was next 2 hours earlier. I didn’t think it was an outrageous assumption and just wanted an update timeframe but whatever..) She then raised her voice to a nearby animal she called Cooper and told him to calm the f**k down. Don’t want someone like that taking care of my pet.
I’ve been waiting all day for a doctor to respond to me about my cats test results and no one has looked at them or called me back. How do they know if they don’t need antibiotics or anything else if NO ONE checks the results. Not happy!
I have been a customer for well over 30 years. Over the past year service has gone downhill. Not because of Covid but because of the way I have been treated by certain staff members. I had an issue with my dog in November. He was misdiagnosed. I brought him to VCA SS Hospital in Weymouth. He was in the hospital for almost a week with Lyme Nephritis. He almost died. The ER doctor at NEAMC told me he had Intervertebral disc disease and needed to see a Neurologist. I have tried to contact the dr and never received a call back... read more

*UPDATE 5/19/21: I just spoke with Kelsey on the phone and she was more than pleasant. I received an apology and a refund. Thank you so much Kelsey! What can I say other than this is a money factory? Tonight I brought my senior cat here for blood in her stool. I was extremely worried about her and went against my better judgement and did not read prior reviews. A word to the wise: don’t make my mistake. Four hours go by and it’s getting later and later with no phone call whatsoever. I called and said I had enough and I... read more
*update to original review : I received a call from Karen, she was able to square the situation away and I was issued a refund. Thank you Karen!* I brought my dog into the Emergency room due to gagging for an unknown reason. We sat in the parking lot for 2 hours before I called to get an update. I was told that it would be "some time" before I was able to speak with a vet. 3 more hours later waiting anxiously in the parking lot, I get a call from the vet who stated that they have been monitoring my dog and he has not been ... read more
Horrible since Covid! No respect for patients and their owners! To think I spent $27k on my dog less than 2 years ago there and they saved his life for an extra year, but honestly...... they use Covid as an excuse and their customer service hung up on me when I was driving there saying call when I got there. When I called when I got there, I had to wait 40 min for someone to answer and then wait longer for them to come out. It’s wrong, all they care about is the $$$$$$ not the patient or owners. I have a senior cat who needs... read more
they're very expensive and won't touch your pet until they're touching your $ so your pet suffers until they have all your $ everyone in there has no compassion for anyone. I thought you wanted to be a vet because you loved animals, not here, they're cold and mean until they have $ in full then pretends they care about your pet. Their passion is money not animals! I highly do NOT recommend these heartless vets
Wouldn’t recommend. The experience was awful from start to finish. The staff that took my bird ripped the cage out of my hands without saying a word to me and carelessly brought him inside. We waited 45 minutes for them to even come out and take him after calling ahead. We spent 5 hours in the parking lot all in all. I had to call to check in after 3 hours only to find out he was JUST about to be seen. They told me there was an influx of avian species being seen that night but after reading others reviews about their pets be... read more
