I met Dr. Castelli and his staff last year when I moved to this area. I did some research on Dr's near me and he popped up. I am a retired nurse, in my mid 40's and I am critical of the Dr's I pick. I picked him due to the negative reviews I read about him. I read that he lacked bedside manner and was rude. I am here to tell you that those comments are false. I have been going to Dr. Castelli ever since I got pregnant with my first child. I felt relaxed during my pregnancies, mainly because of how Dr. Castelli responded to questions and concerns in a calm and confident manner. I have now had my second son and once again no complaints. My actual labor took forever with my first son, but delivering him felt fairly easy with Dr. Castelli’s direction and calmness. And I would have to say the same with my second. Dr. Castelli is the best OB/GYN! He is caring and compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and well practiced. Dr. Castelli’s calm and friendly demeanor sets you at ease. I know that I’ve been in great hands, with the 4 babies that I’ve had with Women’s Healthcare. They are a fabulous team, with great communication, who provide a lovely feeling of belonging when you walk into the office. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Castelli!
He is truly amazing. I am not sure where to begin. He is not my OB but was on call when I went into labor on a sunday night. I had a previous c section and I told him I wanted a vbac. He was so encouraging and positive and told me "you are going to deliver this baby vaginally!" It was an amazing experience. My brother was also diagnosed with leukemia the day before and so he prayed over us and the baby.
I have a very hard time to understand those negative reviews about Dr. Castelli. I feel they are unfair. Let me tell you my experience with him, and you can judge for yourself. On New Year’s Day in 2003, my daughter was safely delivered in Bryn Mawr Hospital by my original OB/GYN, but there were tears left during the labor. I was left bleeding for 12 hours until Dr. Castelli came. Actually Dr Castelli was not my OB/GYN. He came to the hospital to check on all the patients on the way to a New Year’s party. Dr. Castelli and all of the staff at Women’s Health Care Specialists are absolutely wonderful! I have been going to this practice since I started seeing a gynecologist at age 18. I have always felt well cared for, but I especially felt that way during my recent pregnancy with my son. My pregnancy had a lot of different things happen, but the staff and Dr. Castelli always made sure to ease my worries. I can’t say enough about how amazing they all are!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Castelli’s for over 10 years. He has served as both my gynecologist and obstetrician. Each visit has been professional, timely and thorough. Dr. Castelli’s bedside manner is superior and he always takes his time when I’ve expressed my concerns or problems. His office staff is also wonderful, very upbeat and positive. Dr. Castelli is a model physician, I’d highly recommend this practice!
Highly recommend Dr. Castelli and staff! Dr. Castelli helped me through my first pregnancy and was nothing short of wonderful.
