Durable and serviceable I’ve owned my house and pool for over 30 years( this is in AZ where pumps run year round and UV is way high) The second cleaner I bought in the 90’s was a cuda G2 after messing with mechanical cleaners (with wheels turbines, and and moving parts.) for several years. Better than wheels IMO Without hesitation, I bought a G3 to replace my old G3 that has been running great for well over a decade (see side by side photo). I decided to replace mine because 11+yrs submerged in pool water has finally caused some pitting and degradation of the plastic on the outer housing. Every so often, the inner diaphragm doodad, the round spiked blue pad on the base, and rarely the bright yellow rubber foot on the bottom need to be replaced due to wear, especially if you have pebble plaster. Energy Saver This product is a saver. First it doesn't get stuck, does a great job of cleaning the pool and is fast. The best part is I could slow my variable speed pool filter motor down to 360 watts and the G3 is still fairly violent with how it shakes and cleans. Love this product so far in the first month....no moving parts so it should last a long time.
It works! Works just perfect! Once I got my pump speed to the suggested pressure, it worked like a charm. I’m happy😎

A long history of great performance. This is a piece of gear that you can count on for years. That is if you treat it nice during off season.
Very Quiet We replaced an older Kreepy Krawly knock off that was noisy and broke after a year and a half. Durability remains to be seen, but the unit works great and is super quiet!
Updated review - I think I worked it out Update below: I have rectangular round-ended vinyl-lined pool with steps at the shallow end end and a ladder on one side of the deep end. I decided to try this vacuum as my old Hayward that Id had for 25 years was finally falling apart, turned out to be a big mistake. Worth the high price. We purchased this zodiac g3 pool cleaner for our vinyl lined pool. Wasn’t happy with the price. But thought we would try it. Well it quit working this September.I went to the return and warranty info. Crazy that you have to take pictures and then print itout. So I did. Then I found the troubleshooting guide and again had to take pictures in order to be able to print out. A little more trouble but it paid off big time!
