Perfect-4-PebbleTec BEST pool device we've used! We had one previously but a local Pool Supply Store told my wife parts were no longer available and sold her a Hayward Navigator, which was TERRIBLE. Now we're back and this Barracuda G3 works great on Pebble-Tec. It is a night and day difference. AWESOME!!!
Good purchase! We bought this in 2014 and it still works fine in 2025! I have had to replace the diaphragm a couple of times but other than that it has held up pretty well!

Great Vacuum - Eventually The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the installation directions are **it! I have a small pool, so I initially installed using the side vacuum port and only enough hose to reach the farthest part of the pool, but it kept getting stuck around the vacuum port and wouldn't traverse the entire pool. Also, the instructions show the weight on the second section of hose, which did not work. New Zodiac G3 Works great, fast shipping and great price
The Barracuda is the pool BOSS! The media could not be loaded. The g3 barracuda is flat out awesome. Screw your 1000 dollar robot. This thing cleaned my pool in a couple hrs and for the price you can’t beat it. Add in the factor of the countless reviews of they last forever and have cheap simple parts, it’s a no brainer. I’ve had 2 Polaris sweeps and I got tired of always messing with them to get them to work right. I will never go back. Barracuda for life!
So far it's great! I recently purchased this to replace another automatic cleaner by this same company. The other one had the treads, gears, wheels etc. and would last about a year of full-time use before something would break. It would also get stuck on steps and I was always rescuing it.This new cleaner is very simple - it really only has one moving part, so I anticipate when it wears out, it'll be much easier to replace it. Baracuda G3 This Baracuda G3 03000 is amazing! We purchased it and before we received it we had a wind storm and are pool had so much dirt and debris in it, my husband put it together and it did a great job cleaning the pool. It has great suction and cleans all the way up to the pool tiles. We'll worth the money.
