Easy- Works Good This was a replacement for the same model that I had. I knew how to put it together. The extension from the hose into my suction port would not stay in the hose so I eliminated it and it works fine. For those who are not aware, the suction indicator is there for you to change the valves on the pool lines properly. You can NOT alter the setting from this devise.
Perfect Works as expected. I have a 27' round pool. Works fine. The last 2 I have had a re junk. This one fits the bill.Only issue, which is mine is keeping the G3 Connected to the hose. It blows off most times when priming it. Need someone strong I guess to connect it! 😉
Just not a good fit for my pool…… Purchased this cleaner to try to clean my pebble tech pool. My Phoenix was chewing it up. This cleaner moves around the pool. OK, tends to get caught in corners or on stairs. My biggest issue is the fact that it really doesn’t pick much up. After a couple of days of fairly heavy use, the leaves and debris that were in certain parts of the pool were still there. Works like a champ (after you watch a youtube tutorial on how to set it up) This thing works like a champ! Like a few other reviewers mentioned the set up instructions are really bad, I had to use a youtube video to figure it out. I put the weight on the first piece of hose line nearest the Barracuda, it worked to keep it on the bottom of the pool. I have a dedicated hose line that was supposed to be for a pool cleaner, suction wasn't enough, so used the skimmer one, and it works perfectly. Once you figure out how to set it ... read more

Perfect-4-PebbleTec BEST pool device we've used! We had one previously but a local Pool Supply Store told my wife parts were no longer available and sold her a Hayward Navigator, which was TERRIBLE. Now we're back and this Barracuda G3 works great on Pebble-Tec. It is a night and day difference. AWESOME!!!
Good purchase! We bought this in 2014 and it still works fine in 2025! I have had to replace the diaphragm a couple of times but other than that it has held up pretty well!
