Product works great for me. I get very few leaves etc. mostly just fine particulate. This unit uses the existing sand filter and it works great for my needs. I had previously tried a Polaris 955 which would pick up larger stuff like leaves etc. but fine stuff just went right through.
The MX8 Elite is awesome! Easy to set up and cleaned my pool in about 3 hours. No more hand vacuuming, this product is a serious time saver. Purchase the leaf canister and you won't be disappointed.

The Zodia MX8 does a great job once you get it calibrated correctly. Very easy to use. It will not climb my steps, but does climb the wall far enough to suck in air. It seems to get stuck there and when it does reverse it backs up goes over a little and does it again. I'm not very happy about that. It has also gotten stuck behind my ladder a couple of times. I'm not happy about that either. I do like that it does clean the pool very nicely. It's also very quiet and that's great! Thank you!
