This is still relatively new in my pool but I will say it is the best unit I have used so far. That is saying something since I previously owned a 'Great White" and an 'Aquanaut 450' for this pool and the MX8 Elite is superior to both of those units. Covers the pool and walls well, not the steps, but that is normal. I will try to update at a later time to discuss longevity, but it is too new to do that yet. This vacuum really does a perfect job. We have pool surrounded by dense foliage and clears and cleans the floor of the pool efficiently. The only issue we have is it gets caught or stalls on the floor drains in the pool.

I love this pool vacuum, we got it just before the leaves started falling and it has saved us at least 2 hours a day. It’s easy to use and goes up and down the walls with ease.
