New Zodiac MX8 customer who previously used a creeper-type cleaner and used much higher (water flow) pump RPMs and frequently got caught in corners until the pump lost prime. So far (only 3 weeks), I really-like this pool vacuum machine! It sweeps pools floor and climbs most walls, up to the waterline without gulping air. I am disappointed, that the MX8 traction slips and won’t climb up pool walls that are perpendicular. Yet, this machine has never gotten stuck! This is an excellent cleaner. It does a great job in a short time and it's capability to climb the walls is exceptional

This is still relatively new in my pool but I will say it is the best unit I have used so far. That is saying something since I previously owned a 'Great White" and an 'Aquanaut 450' for this pool and the MX8 Elite is superior to both of those units. Covers the pool and walls well, not the steps, but that is normal. I will try to update at a later time to discuss longevity, but it is too new to do that yet.
