Love my new pool cleaner. Easy assembly, set up and hook up to pool pumps. Very effective in getting to hard-to-access spots in pool that attract fine particle dirt and other waste. My pool guy loves it too -- in fact, he recommended the MX8 over all the other options, even those much more expensive.

Here's a suggestion that may help with that issue: remove the yellow debris inlet to widen the port on the bottom of the cleaner. This should allow larger debris to pass through. had a hard time getting it going due mainly to a lack of pressure. once i got that right , then it has been preforming very well . i have had a Kreepy, Polairs , it is by far the better peice of equipment.

The MX8 is fine for the floor and walls of our pool, but it can’t quite do the steps.
