Buy the original It last two weeks. Original last almost two years.
Always rip in the same place. Last 2-3 months if that! I bought 2 April 2018 and both failed as of August 2018. I do not have large debris so no reason for failures. I have bought at least 3/4 a year! They split in the same place.youd think zodiac would recall or offer replacements!
Lasted about 1 month The replacement diaphram lasted about 1 month. The original lasted about 2 years. I'm ordering another because the season is almost over. Will have to really look into what to purchase for next year.

Price price was a little high
the 1st replacement lasted 6 months under higher than recommended suction. This one lasted 2 months with the ... I purchased this 2 months ago and the silicon separated and my vacuum no longer works. I even checked to ensure my suction was not set too high and it was right on the money. This is the second replacement I purchased. The original one lasted about a year (my fault for not checking suction strength), the 1st replacement lasted 6 months under higher than recommended suction. Zero Stars Ordered this on May 9, 2018. Today, July 15, 2018 the part broke. The yellow plastic pieces are supposed to open and close which creates the suction. After about three months they wore through and this part no longer works. The original part lasted over three years, yet this one barely lasted three months.I do not recommend purchasing this part.
Can't count on the Zodiac T3 pool cleaner. Less than three months and another catastrophic failure. If this part was $5 it would be less annoying, but the ongoing cost of keeping my Baracuda /Zodiac T3 pool cleaner running is just too high. The problem with the diaphragm was supposedly fixed but apparently the fix didn't work. BTW, I was very careful to set the suction to the right level, and even installed a vacuum gauge so I can make sure that it's set right. not as good as orig. failed after two months original one lasted two years had correct suction set and everything. It would be nice to get a replacement that lasted as long as the original I bought two a month apart so running my back up one now. Hope it holds in there until the manufacture can send me free replacements
