This is my second stay at Shadelands Post Acute. I am just as impressed with the staff and facility as I was the first time. Everything is top notch. The building is clean, welcoming, and very light and airy. The staff are excellent and responsive to your needs. I highly recommend this facility.

I spent 3 weeks (21 days) Shadelands Post Acute post hip surgery. I was impressed with the staff's teamwork. I never heard negative comments from/between staff. The nursing team communicated daily with their counterparts (i.e., patient needs/preferences) when shifts were ending/starting. My CNA's were also wonderful. Employees always had a smile on their face, no matter what their areas of responsibility were, a testament to the positive work environment. Cleanliness was a top priority. The staff is wonderful, very caring, cheerful, and professional, all of them, CNAs, RNs, PTs, OTs, administrators. The Physical and Occupational Therapists are superb, and really help the healing process. Very clean, bright, and comfortable facilities. The meals are remarkably good with a lot of variety.

Physical rehab excellent one on one trainers. The facility is spotless daily room cleaning makes it 10 in my books. The food is excellent. I would highly recommend Shadelands. Don Belding

On my first day back from the hospital after surgery, I was in a lot of pain and couldn't sit up from a lying position on my own. The kind and compassionate care from the staff was extremely helpful, so much so that after three weeks, I have recovered much of the strength I had lost." In addition, the engaging recreational and entertainment activities made the time go by much faster for patients." Of course, any organization can always improve, but overall they did a great job."

Shadeland's postacute has been an amazing positive experience!! I can't believe how unbelievable this rehab center has been. My mother fell and broke her leg and was there for three months during that time she received the very best care from all of the staff that worked to there her medical assistant Stephanie took such amazing care with her. First, and most importantly, everyone gets a private room. I was in the facility for 2 1/2 months and having my own room was the best benefit. The care that you receive is 10 out of 10!! I have to mention the name of one nurse in particular...Trina. She really showed me, everyday, how caring she could be. All of the RN's and CNA's were excellent, but Trina was special! Obviously I do not ever want to need post acute care again, but I would only choose Shadelands again if I did.

This facility demonstrates the best of post acute care. The staff are compassionate and timely with their attention. It is a model for other organizations.
