Melanie nurse- Is remarkable and takes the time to listen and never makes me feel rushed. Always comes with sweetness and shes a gentle and loving person. If you read the current reviews of Shadelands Post Acute Facility, you'll see a common message: that Shadelands Post Acute truly stands out as one of the best post-acute and skilled nursing facilities in the Bay Area. My Mom has been here for about a week and is very pleased. Her PT and OT sessions are productive, food is excellent (which is rare) and most of all Lisa at the Salon took great care of her and did her hair.. wash and full color!! Nothing like having your hair done to make you feel better. Thank you Shadelands Post Acute
My mother has been receiving aid, physical therapy and nursing care for 6 weeks following her broken femur and surgery. Every staff member is friendly, efficient, open minded to suggestions, patient and so knowledgeable. Mom has been treated with such care and empathy. We could not be more pleased and thankful!

The CNA's Trina,Lydia,Anna, and Ariel have been outstanding, patient, efficient and thoughtful. Nurse Melanie is extremely efficient and careful with my medications and is always on time. OT Jeff and PT Caleb have done great exercises to help me get stronger and were kind and thoughtful with my care. Social worker Cristina was wonderful in getting all the help I needed and went above and beyond to work with my family. She made the transition very smooth she has a delightful personality . Was recovering from a hospital stay that had sapped my strength. Shadelands provided physical and occupational therapy in a clean and pleasant setting.

Very recently, I fell and broke my hip - a stable fracture of the femoral neck. After a successful repair procedure, which included installation of three metal pins (which when x-rayed look like three wood screws) was off to Shadelands Post Acute, for recovery and therapy. Was, almost of course, leery of bringing placed in what, I thought, must be the equivalent of a nursing home; nowadays called a skilled nursing facility or SNIFF in the biz. It's not easy picking a skilled nursing facility, but I'm very grateful I ended up at Shadelands Post-Acute. I spent 8 weeks here after a serious fall. This was a new experience for me, but I was quickly put at ease. I had the most wonderful care possible and my needs were always met in a timely manner by the terrific staff.
