My dad was recently at Shadelands for close to 3 months. I was extremely pleased with the care he received, the staff, and with the facility itself. A few points: 1) The building is so nice! It's modern and cheery. And the courtyard area, which my dad could access from his room, was beautiful and a nice retreat when the sun was out. 2) My dad's room was great too. P.S. Wrote a previous review when it seemed I might be on the verge of discharge. (As I mentioned to the staff then, as much as I like Shadelands Post Acute, was happy to go home). Developed, almost of course, that my optimism over an imminent discharge was a bit too early. Several weeks later, though, and I was on my way, my high opinion of the place undiminished. My mom received excellent care at Shadelands. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The place is kept very clean. This is the only place I trust for my mom's care.
I have been a patient for sometime. Everyone is wonderful. I have had the privilege of thee exceptional CNA's- Wendy, Dominique and EZ. Each is always cheerful, knowledgeable and seem to really love their job-wonderful reps of Shadelands Acute. .

It's often challenging to get needs met quickly in a convalescent care setting, so I want to give a shout out to Emily and Wendylen, nurses at Walnut Creek's Shadelands Post-Acute. My adult daughter, who has Down syndrome and many health issues, was in residence there recovering after a fall precipitated a long hospitalization.
