The facility is nice and clean. Staff, nurses, therapists and personnel are all incredibly nice, compassionate and dedicated to their jobs. Highly recommend!
My elderly father was in Shadelands Post Acute's care for 5 weeks earlier this year. He battles fall risk, memory / cognitive decline, and major sleep issues -- which while not rare, presents a unique set of care considerations. I and my family were incredibly impressed with Shadelands facilities, staff, and care. I wish this facility was able to take my mom, but the insurance didn't work out. I'm leaving this review solely because the receptionist took time to talk to me and explain how this whole thing works. I have called more than 20 facilities and get a short rushed answer, but with her was different. She is more knowledgable than the case manager that dumped my mom in a horrible facility. Shadelands Post-Acute is far and away the best skilled nursing facility in the area. The facility itself is top notch - the rooms, common areas, and physical therapy center. The staff is very friendly and professional, and they genuinely care about the well-being of all their patients. Judith, in particular, is wonderful! I highly recommend Shadelands if you or someone you know needs a place to stay for rehabilitation.
The location, facility and staff are all so amazing. I cannot express enough the gratitude we have for everyone who works here - all smiles, SUPER helpful, patient and extremely kind. I've had my fair share of experience with SNFs--both as a healthcare professional and as a family member of a patient. I can honestly say that Shadelands exceeded our expectations. Not only is the building new and well-maintained, with private rooms and bathrooms for each patient, but the quality of care truly stands out.
