I was in City View for nearly a month in early 2024, recovering from a hip fracture. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and professional. I'd always heard horror stories about how "terrible" hospital food is-- but the food at City View was not "bad" at all, and was actually quite good. They even cooked my breakfast eggs just the way I like them-- over easy! I've eaten in many places, from hole-in-the-wall diners to "good" restaurants, and I've always been amazed at how many cooks just can't manage to cook eggs over ... read more

This is my second review that I have left for City View postacute in the same stay my first review was towards the beginning of my stay around 7/2025 because I was so impressed by the food service which I'm still very impressed. Today is my Birthday and discharge is nearing, never have I ever thought that I would have received so much love and have been taken care of so greatly that I'm worried about being released out into this dog eat dog world to have to learn how to live on my own again. I'm very grateful to have stayed ... read more

It's the kind of place where you don't want to send your parents, but you're GLAD they're here. Of course, we check Yelp for reviews and experiences, but that's what we do :) My Dad was here for 4-5 weeks and on day 1, the intake manager was very personable and was able to switch my Dad from a 3 person room to a 2 person room. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS Speak UP if it's not what you want. The food is not bad. CNA's were very helpful, especially the 2 wound care nurses. Special Thanks to Jean Eastridge, Social Manager, who hel... read more

This place has its pros and cons. The pros are that the CNAs and nurses are awesome and attentive. The food is okay for a hospital. The cons are that ppl are often talking or singing in the hallway, which makes it difficult to rest. Also, for some strange reason, they don't have ice packs. Really? I just had surgery and need ice packs! There's no way to get in touch with the kitchen to let them know about food changes you'd like to make. A dietician talks to you when you first get here and then nothing.
