54th Street was founded in Kansas City, MO by Thomas E. Norsworthy in 1989. He envisioned a place that would accommodate a consistently crowded dining room as well as a lively bar crowd, while offering the quality food and drinks that exceed national chain competitors. At 54th Street, we believe that great food starts with fresh produce, high quality meats and ingredients and meals prepared from scratch. With our amazing range of scratch prepared menu items, we truly have something for everyone. The Five-Four promise is to... read more

Went here with a group of 9, and was not disappointed at all. We underestimated the portion sizes and couldn't even finish some of the plates on an empty stomach. Our server was kind and friendly and service was quick. The fried chicken was a bit dry, but as for everything else, I can say this was well worth the money. The atmosphere and lighting is pleasant and the bathrooms were clean. Definitely coming here again.
I OOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have tried close to everything on the menu and every damn time they do it. They are so good.
My beer was ice cold! The Brussel sprouts were delicious roasted with cranberries. Yum! Shrimp was a little salty. My friend's steak and prime rib sandwich was to die for!
We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked to checkout this restaurant. I checked in at the restaurant and joined the wait! It was only a ten minute wait and accommodated me instantly when I walked in. Our server was Valaria and she was the sweetest! She always checked on us and gave us a lot of time to order. The strawberry lemonade was SUPER REFRESHING. I'm a huge lemonade lover and I absolutely loved this! You get one free refill with your purchase. The reason I am giving this four stars is because the pasta was cold. I... read more
We've probably been to 54th Street more times than we been to any other restaurant. Although, we usually go to the one in the Village at Stone Oak, we decided to come here for happy hour (M-F 3pm to 6pm) because we were in the area. It was good! We like 54th because the food is tasty, fresh and consistent, and there's plenty of options. I think they have a pretty good amount of options on their happy hour menu also. I ordered an Ameretto Sour for $4.35 (not on the menu). And a Fry Me to the Moon for $7. Both were excellent b... read more
This restaurant closes at 11pm, I suggest you stay away from them after 10:30pm We ordered at 10:37 and had to call twice to check on our food. At 11:17 the server came out to tell us they couldn't complete our order but would substitute items that we didn't want for those we ordered. Finally, our food was brought to us 40 minutes after ordering. I asked for the manager feeling cheated paying for food and being shorted. The manager was worthless, but she did feel that if she said she was "sorry" all would be well. Not ve... read more
The food was good here. I got a gyro which, if you are advertising, better be decent. It was. Exactly as you would expect from an Americanized (traditional) gyro. I loved mine! Everyone else in my party was happy with their food including the (4) kids so that is saying something. The only concern I have is that they call it a "draft house." When I hear those words, I would expect to (at the very least) have a menu of their draft beers on tap. The paper menu had nothing, the downloadable menu had nothing, and our server seeme... read more
If i could put no stars, i would. Me and my girlfriend got here at 12:15AM for some drinks and one of the bartenders was looking at us so ugly since we got in and walked to the bar. She finally came up to us with the ugliest, nastiest face, mad as fuck i guess because she got more people???? Which is so confusing to me bc girl u working for ur money so like cmon? She ruined my night lol made me not want to order with her. I had my girlfriend chug her beer so we could leave ASAP since she had already ordered it. Right as i wa... read more
This is one of the only reliable late night take out places around the RIM during covid they stay open. The gyro is the star for me. For my wife the Buffalo chicken salad with this unreal ranch dressing. The fries are average. I really appreciate this place for staying open during Covid they got us through a few nights.
