We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked to checkout this restaurant. I checked in at the restaurant and joined the wait! It was only a ten minute wait and accommodated me instantly when I walked in. Our server was Valaria and she was the sweetest! She always checked on us and gave us a lot of time to order. We've probably been to 54th Street more times than we been to any other restaurant. Although, we usually go to the one in the Village at Stone Oak, we decided to come here for happy hour (M-F 3pm to 6pm) because we were in the area. It was good! We like 54th because the food is tasty, fresh and consistent, and there's plenty of options. I think they have a pretty good amount of options on their happy hour menu also. This restaurant closes at 11pm, I suggest you stay away from them after 10:30pm We ordered at 10:37 and had to call twice to check on our food. At 11:17 the server came out to tell us they couldn't complete our order but would substitute items that we didn't want for those we ordered. Finally, our food was brought to us 40 minutes after ordering. I asked for the manager feeling cheated paying for food and being shorted. The food was good here. I got a gyro which, if you are advertising, better be decent. It was. Exactly as you would expect from an Americanized (traditional) gyro. I loved mine! Everyone else in my party was happy with their food including the (4) kids so that is saying something. The only concern I have is that they call it a "draft house." When I hear those words, I would expect to (at the very least) have a menu of their draft beers on tap. If i could put no stars, i would. Me and my girlfriend got here at 12:15AM for some drinks and one of the bartenders was looking at us so ugly since we got in and walked to the bar. She finally came up to us with the ugliest, nastiest face, mad as fuck i guess because she got more people???? Which is so confusing to me bc girl u working for ur money so like cmon? This is one of the only reliable late night take out places around the RIM during covid they stay open. The gyro is the star for me. For my wife the Buffalo chicken salad with this unreal ranch dressing. The fries are average. I really appreciate this place for staying open during Covid they got us through a few nights.

So happy this place is open during the whole winter blackout...wasn't surprised it was busy since I'm sure everyone wanted a nice hot meal. The wait for me was at least 30-1 hour. My date was desperate for a hot meal so we sat and waited. While waiting a group of 6 came in after me, (a group of two) and instantly got seated. I don't think they check in online or anything. First time here and sat outside with the bar fire to keep the chill in the air away. It was cozy and the beverages were steady, with fun and personable service! Inside was clean and a game was on. Seemed everyone inside was having a good time watching yet not too rowdy! We will be back for sure!

Looking for great ambiance and an expansive menu? 54th Street definitely has all of that and more. I loved the fact that this restaurant has great indoor seating, but also great seats on their outdoor patio area. As you all know, I love good food and even better cocktails.
