We did takeout here and brought with us to the drive-in movies at Fiesta Six Flags. We pulled up to the front of 54th Street and our food took another 10 minutes to come out so I went inside to get it. The food was mediocre...not super piping hot, like it was sitting there for 20 minutes. Been to this location, and home delivered since it opened. Food is always either very good, or even great. We've tried many different items on the menu and always very pleased. The burgers, the Philly cheese steak sandwich are my favorite. My kids love the chicken wings, fried pickles, and fried mushrooms. Also try the gringo cheese sauce, or the onion rings, as an appetizer. The staff have always been courteous and check on your table often. Hope your experience is the same.

Ordered literally just a baked potato and a salad from Uber eats bc that's all i can get myself to eat as I'm pregnant and refuse to eat anything else. Specifically said only cheese butter and sour cream because I am vegetarian. Waited an hour to get my food and there was bacon all over it. Sucks because the potato looked so good! Ruined my night.

Just ordered food for lunch and was sadly dissatisfied with the outcome. The ordering process and delivery were all fine and good but then all of a sudden here I am looking at the food and it was completely disgusting. Fries that were so floppy I distrust that they were ever cooked fully and a chicken-fried steak that was also soggy and nasty. I give a little space for the time it takes to get here but this was a surprisingly sub-par experience than I normally expect from 54 street.

Overall experience was trash. I first used the app to get my spot in line and it said it was a 40 min wait only to get to there and be told it'll be another 45 min wait. At that point, what's the point of putting my name on the list online??? Finally got seated but in the back of the restaurant in the coldest spot next to the bar. I asked to be moved to a booth where it's warmer and was told it would be another 45 to an hour wait because they were full and other customers were 30 min into their meal. I have been working in San Antonio for several weeks. I see staff order this place for lunch pretty frequently. So I asked about it and was told didn't matter which location, every one was good! With that being said, it was an absolutely amazing place. We were seated immediately. Our order was taken quickly. Didn't wait long on the food. And the food not only looked good but oh my goodness it was delicious!

I order their chicken Madeira religiously! So tasty, and such a great portion! I always go extra saucy as I love to sop up the mashed potatoes in it. I usually add a side of the grilled veggies; it includes brussels, asparagus, mushrooms, red bell peppers, tomatoes and a melody of squash. My absolute favorite. I ordered DoorDash from this location and it was by far the worst steak I've ever eaten. The sirloin literally looked like a McRib. It also had an overwhelming liquid smoke flavor. I couldn't even get through the whole thing. I tried to, but ended up spitting out the last bite I took. My stomach immediately hurt once I got done, and now I have a headache. Really hope I don't get food poisoning from this. Only giving it two stars because my wife enjoyed her caesar salad.
